At Alexander Safety we provide a comprehensive Health and Safety auditing service carried out by our professional consultants, who have experience in a wide range of working environments.

Our Safety Audit has been designed to provide a full independent examination of an organisation’s systems for Health and Safety management, to highlight relevant areas of strength and weakness.

The system allows organisations to meet their legal obligations under Regulation 5 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, which requires employers to ‘monitor and review the protective measures put in place for Health and Safety at work’.

The key areas that are covered within the audit include:

• Storage systems and procedures

• Mechanical and electrical equipment
• Fire protection and prevention (see Fire Risk Assessments)
• Working at height issues
• Manual handling and ergonomics

• Accident and incident reporting/investigation

As well as providing a quantifiable measure of compliance in each of the selected areas. The report also highlights successes and opportunities for further improvements.
