CDM Projects Alexander Safety (Training & Consultancy) Limited Co-ordinators have been involved in include-

New Build, e.g. residential housing developments, Golf Club, Residential Flats, office blocks and a radar station.

Major and minor civils, e.g. roads, petro-chemical sites, tunnels, geo-technical rock stabilisation, blast walls, maritime works and airport runways. Demolition, e.g. housing, airport workshops, offices and factories.

Refurbishment, e.g. Oil Fuel Storage Depot, Nuclear Sites, swimming pools, major building refurbishment including work-places, offices and housing, a hospital, an airfield, roads, tunnels, explosive sites, aerials, masts and engineering workshops.

Alexander Safety (Training & Consultancy) Limited Co-ordinator’s main duties are to:

• advise and assist the client with their duties;

• notify details of the project to the HSE;

• co-ordinate health and safety aspects of design work and co-operate with others involved with the project;

• facilitate good communication between the client, design team and contractors;

• liaise with the principal contractor regarding ongoing design work;

• identify, collect and pass on pre-construction information; and

• prepare/update the health and safety file.

Our CDM Co-ordinators regard themselves as an integral part of the project team from design, pre-construction and construction phases to completion. We proudly act as facilitators to ensure the risks that can be affected by design are effectively assessed, addressed and where practicable, controlled.
